The nine-month program begins in September and offers classes Monday through Thursday. Many of the students attending the high school have multiple responsibilities during their day so classes are held in the evening. This convenient time allows students to attend school without jeopardizing their work and family obligations.

The curriculum is multi-faceted, taking into consideration adult students’ experiences and asking them to use the knowledge that they already have in order to collectively study and discuss course material, ranging from U.S. history to environmental science. This curriculum offers students the opportunity to critically examine subject matter in the light of their own experience and also prepares them for further education, job changes, and/or full-time employment.
